- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command intends to release a solicitation to procure twenty (20) causeway sections, non-powered intermediate (CSNP-CIN) modules and five (5) causeway sections, non-powered beach end (CSNP-CBE) modules to be delivered to Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado, San Diego, CA and three (3) causeway sections, non-powered beach end (CSNP-CBE) to be delivery to Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, Norfolk,VA, to support the current Navy Lighterage system. This requirement will be manufactured in accordance with the government furnished Statement of Work (SOW) and detailed designed drawings. The solicitation will be competed as a Small Business Set-Aside and the intention is to award a firm-fixed price contract utilitizing Source Selection Procedures. The anticipated award is scheduled to take place during the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2002. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 336611 which as a size standard of 1000 employees.
