- NA Remodel Add/ Alter Building 315- Pararescue Facility, Air Force Reserve Area, Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, OR. Construction shall consist of: selected demolition, site work; concrete foundation, floor slab, retaining walls and wall sections ; preformed interlocking metal roof; structural steel framing and steel stud walls; EIFS finish systems; modify site utility systems for an additional interior area of 8271 sf and 669 sf of enclosed exterior space; HVAC, electrical, alarm and communication s systems for the additions; pavements; landscaping and irrigation . Functional areas include; offices, classroom; administration area; mechanical room; and covered storage. Interior modifications shall provide: storage rooms; additional offices; secured medical storage and an arms vault. There will be two (2) scheduled site visits only for prime and subcontractors: Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at 10:00 AM and Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at 1:00 PM. The point of contact will be Mr. Art Howery (503) 335-4460 during normal business hours (M-F 7:00 AM ? 3:30 PM) for information prior to gaining entrance into the facility. Interested contractors should make time allowance for security clearance at the main gate. Bid documents should be available on or about 15 August 2002. Place of purchase for bid documents are from Precision Images, 900 SE Sandy Blvd., Portland, OR 97214, POC: Nancy at 503-274-2030. Construction shall be Type N, noncombustible. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The projected le ngth of construction is estimated at 300 calendar days. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $ 5,000,000. Bid opening will be conducted on September 17, 2002 at 2:00 PM local time at the USPFO for Oregon, ATTN: USPFO-P, 1776 Militi a Way SE, Salem OR 97309. Award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and those in compliance with VETS-10 0 reporting requirements. Contractor has to be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) capable.
