- Description
- Pre-Solicitation Notice ? Project YTPM 96-0087A/C, Repair/Alter Fire Station, Bldg 7084, Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, MA. The scope of work consists of installing a sprinkler system throughout the entire existing fire station. Install 6? fire protection service. Renovate approximately 1680SF of private bedrooms to include demolition, new partition walls, finishes, HVAC system and electrical system. Construct a 3140SF addition to the north side of the building for individual bedrooms. This project is being solicited in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $28,500,000.00 and the NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code is 233320. Bid issue will be on or about 28 August 2002 with a due date for the submission of quotes on or about 25 September 2002. Performance period will be 365 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Telephone requests will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be posted at this site. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. If you do not have the capability to download the solicitation, a CD-ROM disc will be forwarded at your request.
