Description
Furnish necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to Correct Electrical/Mechanical Deficiencies, at VA Central Iowa Health Care System, both Des Moines and Knoxville Iowa Divisions, in accordance with drawings and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to, (a) replace ceiling mounted air handling unit 2-AC-3 with a floor mounted air handling unit in a new mechanical room and replace associated piping, ductwork, controls, power, lighting and accessories, replace existing ceiling mounted steam pressure reducing valves with rack mounted steam pressure reducing valves and modify ductwork and controls associated with air handling units 1-AC-11 and 1-AC-12 in Des Moines Division and (b) replace existing flame safeguard controls on three boilers with solid-state programmable controls, perform inspection, testing and maintenance of main switchgear and replace existing multi-conductor direct buried 15 KV cables with singles conductor 15 KV cables in concrete encased duct bank in Knoxville Division. Cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. NAICS Code 235110 with size standard of $12.0 million applies to this procurement. This procurement is a 100% HUBZone set-aside and is subject to availability of funds. Bidders are required to submit evidence of their HUBZone Certifications with their bid.
