- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration plans to make award to Stress Photonics to perform a DT 1000 upgrade to a thermoelastic stress measurement system. The upgrade is required to improve the effectiveness of the thermoplastic stress measurement system used to determine stress concentration factors in steel bridges. Because Stress Photonics both designed and built the thermoelastic stress measurement system, no other known source and provide this service. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about August 12, 2002.
