- THE BELOW SYNOPSIS IS BEING CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY AS OF THE DATE OF THIS SYNOPSIS---------------------- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the American Trauma Society (ATS), Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. In consultation with HRSA?s Office of Communications, the purpose of this procurement is to implement activities to assist in meeting the Emergency Medical Services for Children Five-Year Plan objectives; communicate emergency medical services (EMS) for children issues through annual meetings, newsletters, and other communication vehicles; participate in meetings of the EMS partnership for children (PFC) consortium; and direct and support the process for the development and evaluation of a program which is designed to improve the communications and support provided to the family when life-threatening injury or sudden illness strikes. The anticipated period of performance is for one (1) year. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541690. ATS is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services as set forth in FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2). A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file.
