- Description
- The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area, has a project entitled Animal Room HVAC Monitoring & Improvements. The project is located at USDA, ARS, National Animal Disease Center, Ames, Iowa. The work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other necessary work to extend the existing Center building automation systems to monitor space temperatures humidity, and air pressures in eight (8) areas of research Buildings 3 & 4. All work to be performed in accordance with specifications and drawings. The period of performance is 120 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated price range: between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code is 235110 Size Standard is 12.0M. This requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. A bid bond, as well as performance and payment bonds shall be required. This solicitation will be issued as an Request for Proposals (RFP) to be issued on or about August 16, 2002, with opening date 30 days later. A site visit will be held: at USDA, ARS, MWA, NADC, 2300 Dayton Avenue, Ames, Iowa 50010 on August 28, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. (Local Time). All responsible sources may submit a proposal.
