- This modification changes the previous request to Southern Pine from Spruce. No grades specified. No specific treatment specified except for .60 Marine application. No substitutions only the specified are acceptable The response date is changed. No other changes This is a Combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N49399-02-T-0127 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text a t these addresses: www.arnet.gov and www.acq.osd.mil. This is a total small business competitive action, using NAICS 321113 size standard 500 employees. The Procurement Center at CNRNE requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: pressure treated .60 percent of chemical saturation timber for marine use. Item 0001-48 pieces of Southern Pine 12 inches x 12 inches x 18 feet. Item 0002-24 pieces of Southern Pine 12 inches x 14 inches x 16 feet. Item 0003-18 pieces of Southern Pine 8 inches x 8 inches x 16 feet. Item 0004-3 pieces of Douglas Fir 2? x 10? x 16?. Item 0005-18 pieces of Douglas Fir 2inches x 12 inches x 12 feet. No substitutions accepted. The timber is required F.O.B. Destination by your best delivery date. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Destination. Place of Delivery is Supply Operations, Bldg. 493, Naval Submarine Base NLON, Groton, CT. 06349. Quotation shall include as a minimum: Unit Price FOB Destination, best delivery date, a point of contact name and phone number, payment terms, and all provision information called for in 52.212-3. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items. 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212.5 Alt I Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Clauses checked under 52.212-5 Alt I are: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33. All clauses shall be incorporated by reference in the resultant order.
