Description

Looking for contractors who can prepare aircraft surfaces of the seven static display aircraft for on site painting. Aircraft will not be moved in any way from their display position at Freedom Park, Nellis AFB, NV 89191 Contractor will paint the Aircraft using EPA approved outdoor painting method (utilize a polyurethane system or system that is proven UV resistant and is low 00 latile organic compound Contractor will provide all support equipment to work on and around the aircraft (Nellis AFB will provide the stencils, contractor will apply them) Contractor will replace stencils on the aircraft after painting and apply a clear coat over the stencils Contractor will wash and inspect aircraft quarterly for damage and report findings to the NCOIC of the 57 EMS/Corrosion Facility Contractor will schedule routine inspections and quarterly touch-ups of the paint for three years following initial painting Contract will obtain permits necessary in the state of Nevada, I.E. Air Permit (Tracking paint quantity used for each aircraft) Contract will preserve Freedom Park (location of Aircraft on Nellis AFB) to the maximum extend possible Contract will get approval from 99 Civil Engineering (CE) Squadron prior to using support equipment on the grass as not to damage it. Contractor will also notify CE prior to shutting of sprinklers and other lawn equipment. The Aircraft consist of: F-111A to be painted Tan #34201, White #17925, Light Green #34079, Dark Green #34092and Black #37038; F-4 to be painted Tan #34201, White #17925, Light Green #34079, Gray #16622, and Black #37038; F-105G to be painted White #17925, Light Green #34079, Dark Green #34092, Red #11136, Black #37038, and Tan #34201; F-15E to be painted Light Blue # 35450, Dark Blue #35109, and Gray #36270; F-100D to be painted Light Green #34079, Dark Green #34092, Brown #34201, Gray #16622, and White #17925; F-86 to be painted Silver #17178, Orange #12243, Blue #15080, Light Blue #15180, Red #11136, Yellow #13538, and Black #37038; F-117 to be painted Black #37038 and Gold #17043.
