Description

General Services Administration (GSA) intends to negotiate a sole source award for the Department 57 of Air force, 61st Medical Squadron Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, CA to AudioCARE Systems. The contractor shall provide the following: (1) AudioCARE System Base Server Including 12 user Mtalk License to support 12 telephone lines; (2) Prescription Inquiry and refill via telephone; (3) Offline Pharmacy Processing when host is Unavailable; (4) Prescription Medication information via telephone; (5) Customized Menu Option Included; (6) Automated prescription pick up & refill reminders; and (7) Required DRX option. The AudioCARE is Windows NT 4.0 (SP6A) based server to automate the prescription refill process through the Composite Health Care System (CHCS). Further AudioCARE holds proprietary software and is used at over forty (40) military medical treatment facilities. The contractor will have a thirty (30) day delivery requirement for the date of award. The SIC Code is 7371/NAICS Code is 541511. All interested parities must submit a capability statement that sufficiently describes their qualifications and previous experience relevant to fulfilling the above requirement. Capability statements shall include evidence that the firm has previous experience in providing this requirement. Please provide the statements via e-mail only to joe. pechinko@gsa.gov by July 29, 2002; 4:30 p.m. Local Pacific Time. This notice is not a solicitation nor is it a formal Request for Proposal. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In the absence of responses from firms that believe they have the capability to provide these services, GSA intends to negotiate with AudioCARE Systems, 207 East King Street, Malvern, PA 19355.
