- Description
- The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Synetics, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-02-JMT-0184. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This solicitation is for Other Direct Costs on a Schedule buy for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA. This procurement is for maintenance, operation and refining of a tracking data server to receive and disseminate tracking data to authorized uses in the counter drug community. This portion of the procurement is being issued off of Synetics, Inc's schedule contract. The Other Direct Costs are for incidentals to support this schedule procurement. The period of performance for this procurement is for a base year from date of award with the option of four additional one year extensions. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All information received by close of business, 7/26/2002 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
