- Description
- The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Hershey Technologies, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-02-JMT-0185. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for a Mission Critical system in support of fleet and shore activities for Commander Navy Region Southwest in San Diego, CA. Hershey Technologies, Inc. is the only known vendor to be a certified Keyfile Value Added Partner, keep a local inventory of spare parts and be located within a 50 mile radius of the center. This requirement is crucial for the mission critical project. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by close of business, 11/1/2001 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
