Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington is soliciting proposals on behalf of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), Code MED-14, Washington DC. The solicitation is made on an unrestricted full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract with a base year and two (2) option years. BUMED requires accommodations and services to support their annual Manpower Conference. The BUMED Manpower Conference is scheduled for the week of 25-30 August 2002. The following are required: LODGING -Contractor will provide 250 single rooms at or below the authorized government lodging rate of $150 Lodging and conference site must be at the same location, and within 25 miles proximity to Dulles International Airport. Airport Shuttle service must be readily available on a daily basis for airport and local drop off. MEALS - Contractor will provide 3 meals per day for 300 conference participants less than or equal to the authorized government per diem rate of $ 46 per person. PARKING - Contractor will provide parking to 50 local commuters per day. CONFERENCE FACILITIES - Contractor will provide (1) Auditorium with seating 300 conference participants for 5 days. (2) 4 computer rooms each with 25 computers and seating for 50 for 5 days. Computer rooms must have T1 line with access to the Internet, LCD projector, and printer. (3) 7 rooms with seating for 25 for 5 days with T1 line for access to the Internet, presenter computer, LCD projector, and printer. (4) Administrative office space for 5 days with phone, copier, four computers, 2 printers and a fax machine. (5) 2 office spaces for counseling services with seating for 5 for 5 days. ANCILLARY SERVICES - Contractor will provide necessary support and services that meets the expectations of conference participants in regards to customer service, professionalism of staff, hotel accommodations, conference facilities, and quality of meals.
