Description

NA The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Winncom Technologies Corporation, 30700 Carter Street, Suite A, Colon, OH 44319. The contract is required to up grade and expand and repair various c omponents of an existing Wireless Ethernet Network System. This expansion will include the following items. 8 each Base Station 20/60 MB, 8 each Base Station Power Brick, 5 each Radio Subscriber Unit, 1 each PRX Starter Kit, 1 each PRX Harmony .11A AP Con nector, 2 each PRX .11A 6 foot Jumper Cable, 1 each Patch Antenna, 1 each 5DBI Antenna, 1 each PRX 8.5 DBI Patch Antenna, 2 each PRX Harmony .11A Card Bus Card, 1 each Pro 802.11A Starter Kit, and 3 each Radio Subscriber Unit. The original system was desi gned and developed by Winncom Technologies and the upgrade must have form, fit, and function compatibility with the system currently in existence at the USAYPG. All data relative to the system is proprietary. Interested parties may submit technical litera ture showing their capability of meeting the Government?s requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is so lely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
