- NA Contractor will furnish all materials, labor, transportation, tools, supplies, test equipment, and personnel necessary to perform tower and antenna system maintenance at Fort Richardson (FRA) and Fort Wainwright (FWA), Alaska. Maintenance of all specified antenna systems and towers are required during an annual time period, with four one-year options which the Government may exercise. Contractors who plan to respond to this solicitation are urged to attend a site-visit scheduled on the following dates at th e following locations: 1.)21 August 2002 @ 1000 am Alaska Standard Time, DOC Build. 600, Fort Richardson, Alaska 2.) 22 Aug 2002 @ 1000 am Alaska Standard Time, Contracting Office, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. In no event shall failure to inspect the sites co nstitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Contractors who wish to respond to the solicitation shall provide a complete Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure all maintenance requirements of this contract and applicable system manuals are performed as specified. The Contractor shall provide the proposed QCP with proposal submission for review and approval by the government prior to implementation. Posting of the solicitation may be down-loaded through the Directorate Of Contracting Web-site for the Fort Richardson Post, Alaska at http://www.usarak/army.mil/doc/ and then select DAPC49-02-R-0019 under the current listings for Large Dollar Contracts, RFP's.
