- Description
- U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Vista Clara, Mukilteo, Wa to develop and evaluate sensor fusion techniques for joint, real-time processing for acoustic and magnetic sensors for improved detection and tracking of ground vehicles. This effort will investigate the sensors fusion processing techniques when combining an acoustic and magnetic sensor. Data fusion algorithms incorporating acoustic and magnetic sensor data shall be developed for the detection and tracking of military ground vehicles. Software models coded in MATLAB? for TANKTRACKER? shall be created to implement the data fusion algorithms. The contractor shall be responsible for operating and supporting the collection of acoustic and magnetic gradiometer data. The period of performance for this effort is six (6) months. We are utilizing the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. See Note 22.
