- This synopsis is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a Brand Name or Equal requirement for the purchase of fifty-two (52) Panasonic TOUGHBOOK CF-28 laptop computers " Or Equal" to be shipped to various CONUS locations. PREFER GSA SCHEDULE PRICES. Request interested contractors submit information on their proposed laptop that is comparable to a Panasonic TOUGHBOOK CF-28. The laptops must meet the following minimum specifications: 1) Ruggedized Laptop computer that will withstand the rigors of military field conditions; 2) Minimum of 800mHz processor; 3) Minimum 30 GB hard drive with 3.5 inch floppy disk drive; 4) removable Hard Drive; 5) Combination DVD-ROM/CR-RW drive; 6) Backlit keyboard; 7) Integrated Global Positioning System; 8) Daylight readable LCD display; 9) Moisture Resistant Case; 10) Dust-resistant LCD, keyboard and touch-pad; 11) Scratch-resistant coating; 12) 56k Modem/LAN Card; 13) Office XP Pro/Front-page Enterprise Win32 English MVD Microsoft Licenses; 14) Carry case capable of withstanding military field conditions. For purposes of this Request For Information (RFI), the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for is 5045 and the corresponding NAICS code is 421430. The small Business size is 100/$7.5M.
