- Description
- This is a commercial sole source fixed-price purchase order for a Site Survey to Bahrain to assist the Bahrain Defense Force in the design, location and specifications for the installation of AN/VRC ?83(V) HQII VHF/UHF radio sets. Delivery: September 2002. Destination: Bahrain The approximate issue date will be: 26 July 2002. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures IAW FAR Part 13 as soon as practicable after the issue date. NAICS Code 334220 (750 employees). SOLE SOURCE to: Raytheon Company, 1010 Production Rd, Ft Wayne, IN 46808; CAGE 37695 Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 because the data or the rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources are not owned by the Government and it has been determined that it is uneconomical to purchase them or to reverse engineer the part.
