Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation F61040-02-Q ?0013 is issued as a Request For Quote. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The North American Industry Classification System code assigned to this acquisition is 335311. Please identify whether you are a large or small business based on this SIC code. The following FAR clauses apply to this synopsis/solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial: 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Evaluation will be based solely on lowest price); 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Offerors must submit a completed copy of the Representations and Certification with their offer); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items (Apr 1999)(Deviation). Quotations must be submitted no later than 4:00 pm (local time) on 25 July 2002. This requirement is not restricted to Mainland Portugal and its territories. Proposals will be solicited on a firm-fixed price lump sum basis. The request for Quote (RFQ) package will be available for downloading and viewing at Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov. The RFQ package will be available on the Internet only. There will be no hard copies of this solicitation issued. The Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government?s best interest. All proposals and other normal documents required for the proposal submittal, including amendments to the proposal submittal, shall be in paper medium. No telephone requests will be accepted. ****** Amendment 01 is hereby issued to add the quantity to CLIN 0003 and correct the description. The regulator shall be oil fill, the word Dry shall be removed from the description. The requested quantity for CLIN 0003 is 5 ea. Additionally the following shipping information is provided. The contract shall provide FOB New Cumberland PA pricing. Exact shipping instructions will be provided upon award as Government tranport will be used from New Cumberland, PA to Lajes Field, Portugal.
