Description

Moody Air Force Base, Georgia intends to offer for harvest and removal/clear-out of an estimated amount of 30 year old loblolly pines, slash pine, longleaf pine and water oak. The government estimates the total volume available in this timber sale is sawtimber - 2,828 tons, pine chip-n-saw - 2,837 tons and pine pulpwood - 825 tons. The QUANTITY REFERENCED IS AN ESTIMATED AMOUNT. IT IS THE BIDDERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT AND ASCERTAIN THE QUANTITY AND QUALITY OF THE TIMBER PRIOR TO SUBMITTING BID. This is notification to interested parties. the solicitation number for this procurement is F09607-02-T0055 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The National American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 11321 (SIC 2411). Please identify whether or not you are a small or large business based on the NAICS code. The size standard for the NAICS code is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by this agency.
