Description

Lower Monte Rico Road Improvement and Decomissioning on the North Umpqua Ranger District. Reconstruct 5.21 miles of road by clearing roadside vegetation, reconditioning roadbed, removing culverts, installing culverts, adding drop inlets to culverts, reconstructing fills, reshaping roadbed, re-aligning roads and hauling and placing aggregate and riprap. Decommission 1.76 miles of road by ripping and outsloping roadbeds, salvaging aggregate, removing fills and removing culverts. Work is limited to the period between May 1 and October 31 with an additional limitation of July 1 through September 15 for work adjacent to or in streams with flowing water. The allowable performance period is one field season. This is a Request for Proposals, in addition to price proposals, Offerors are required to complete a questionnaire; detailed technical proposals are not required. Technical proposal elements include past performance history, descriptive site-specific technical approach and equipment capability. The project magnitude is in the range of $100,000 and $250,000.
