- A Draft Performance Work Statement is released for an OMB Circular A-76 Direct Conversion for the 72d Communication Squadron at Tinker AFB, OK. Please be advised that this PWS is merely a DRAFT at this time and various changes may be included in the final Statement of Work once the RFP is released. The Draft PWS is provided to give companies an overview of the overall services to be requested. IT IS BEING EMPHASIZED THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. However, it is very IMPORTANT that interested companies review the DRAFT PWS and Attachments and take this opportunity to submit any comments or questions in writing via FAX or e-mail. The requirement includes support for Help Desk, File Server Administration, Technical Assistance, Defense Message System (DMS), System Outages, Desk Top Management, Web Management, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Alternate Information System Security Officer (AISSO) as defined in the PWS. This acquisition is part of an Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76 Cost Direct Conversion. A best value contractor will be selected using source selection procedures outlined in FAR Part 15 and the price will be compared against the government cost estimate. If the comparison indicates the conversion will not be cost effective, a cost comparison initiative will be scheduled. The NAICS Code is 541513. The size standard is $18,000,000.00. A draft Request for Proposal is schedule for release on or about 8 March 2002.
