- Description
- The Operational Contracting Division, Tinker AFB, OK is soliciting proposals for an OMB Circular A-76 Direct Conversion for the 72d Communication Squadron at Tinker AFB, OK. This requirement will be reserved for the Section 8(a) program. The requirement includes support for Help Desk, File Server Administration, Technical Assistance, Defense Message System (DMS), System Outages, Desk Top Management, Web Management, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Alternate Information System Security Officer (AISSO) as defined in the PWS. This acquisition is part of an Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76 Cost Direct Conversion. A best value contractor will be selected using source selection procedures outlined in FAR Part 15 and the price will be compared against the government cost estimate. If the comparison indicates the conversion will not be cost effective, a cost comparison initiative will be scheduled. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration system in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the CCR at www.ccr.gov. The NAICS code is 541513. The size standard is $18,000,000.00. A Draft Request for Proposal is scheduled for release on or about 8 March 2002. A site visit/industry day will be held at Tinker AFB, OK in the near future. Details will be released later regarding the time, date, and location of events.
