- Description
- Furnish paper grocery bags to the Commissary locations within the Eastern Region, Mid-Western Region, and Western Region of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). DeCA is soliciting firms that have the capability of furnishing an electronic means by which the individual stores can place orders and pay for orders with their credit cards directly to the contractor. Delivery is to be made within 10 working days after receipt of order. The Eastern Region shall be divided into two geographic areas: Southern Area and Northern Area. The Southern Area is comprised of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The Northern Area is comprised of Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine. The Mid-West Region shall be divided into two geographic areas: Southern Area and Northern Area. The Southern Area is comprised of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico. The Northern Area is comprised of Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming. The Western Region shall be divided into two geographic areas: Southern Area and Northern Area. The Southern area is comprised of California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. The Northern Area is comprised of Washington, Idaho and Montana. Contractor shall be responsible for deliveries to the individual commissary location. Evaluation of offers will be on an "all or none" basis per geographic area. A Firm-Fixed Priced Indefinite Delivery Requirements Type contract is contemplated. This will be a three (3) month interim contract. Period of performance will be August 1, 2002 through October 31, 2002. The Request for Proposal will be released on or about July 16, 2002 and offers MUST be received by 3:00 P.M. on July 24, 2002. This solicitation is to be issued on an unrestricted basis.
