- Description
- The purpose of this modification is to answer questions with regard to this solicitation. They are as follows: 1. What are the mechanical specifications required for the diodes? I.E., what type of physical of package is requested? The mechanical dimensions correspond to those of the C-package discontinued by SDL, Inc., which was previously uploaded. 2. What are the optical specifications required for the diodes, such as wavelength +/- tolerance, pulse repetition rate, pulse duration, power per pulse? The required wavelength is 792 nm +/-3 nm at 15 C temperature, repetition rate of 10Hz, pulse duration of 1 ms, and total power of 600 watts (in, for example, an array of six 100 watt diode bars). 3. What are the service utility/electrical specifications such as voltage and current requirements? The current/voltage requirements are flexible as long as they can be driven by typical diode current drivers commercially available. 4. Are the diodes required to be water cooled or are they to be cooled by conductors? The diode array must be water cooled. All other terms and conditions of this modification remain unchanged.
