Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has interest and is seeking sources capable of providing Customized Orthopedic Safety Shoes and Orthotics to meet or exceed the American National Standard (ANSI) 1991 Personal Protection Standards for ?Protective Footwear?, established in OSHA 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.136, ?Foot Protection?. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. Solicitations are not available at this time, and as such any request for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. At this point, the BEP does not intend on purchasing any particular Customized Orthopedic Safety Shoes or Orthotics, but would like to review Safety Shoe(s) and Orthotics literature and pricing as part of a market research to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
