- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Regional Contracting Office, NE currently has a requirement for MANUFACTURING AND PACKAGING OF 5? COMPACT DISC, QUANTITY: 30,000. Single speed glass-mastering ONLY using a propriety technology, developed by JVC called K-2 or a similar format to be approved by the user (D&B). CD jewel box will be four (4) colors. CD label will be (2) colors. CD Booklet will be eight 98) pages with four (4) color cover and color text. Government Will Approve final product before replication. Music is under 60 minutes. The vendor will collate and finish CD booklets and trays into jewel box a nd poly wrap. Vendor will ship (motor freight) finished CD to nine (9) total address? to include Marine Barracks, Washington, DC. D&B (user) will provide the addresses at a later date. All graphic designed will be provided by the Government. The Government will also supply Song 1600 master with frame accurate running time and CRC report. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001.05. The following clauses apply to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial items, Far 52.222-22 Previous Contracts and Compliance Reports, FAR 52.222-25 Affirmative Action Compliance. Quotes are due back by COB on 31 July 2002 to the Regional Contracting Office, NE, 3250 Catl in Ave., Quantico, Va 22134 or fax (703) 784-5908, attn: Kathy Parker.
