- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA) is issuing a Commercial Item Solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 12.203 for furnishing of two (2) one bedroom suites with fully equiped kitchens to house surgical residents for VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System, 1000 Locust Street, Reno, NV. Contractor shall provide all utilities, local telephone service, basic cable TV service and all furnishings. Provide daily trash removal and maid service. Units shall be wheelchair accessible and meet all requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act. Location of rooms must be within a 20-mile radius of the VA Medical Center. Contract period is October 1, 2002, or date of award if subsequent thereto, through September 30, 2003. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. The following provisions and clauses apply plus addenda: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluations - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items. NAICS Code is 721110. Electronic copies of the solicitation will be available on or about July 17, 2002 at http:/www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. HARD COPY SOLICITATIONS WILL NOT BE FURNISHED. No telephone or e-mail requests will be accepted. No web-based or faxed offers will be accepted. All amendments will be posted on the web site. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments.
