- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to overhaul three (3) each Philadelphia Gear rotary pumps, Stock No. 4320-01-073-9385, Philadelphia Gear Part No. 46123R253. Solicitation No. DTCG40-02-Q-50149 will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 811310 and the dollar amount is $ 5.0 million. It is the Government's belief that ONLY Philadelphia Gear, 2600 East Imperial Highway, Lynwood, CA 90262 (OEM), and/or their authorized distributors, can restore the rotary pumps to their operating and performance characteristics, "original" design and technical specifications. It is the Government's intention to solicit only the OEM, and/or their authorized distributors. The Government does not possess the necessary technical and engineering data or drawings to supply with the RFQ. This information is proprietary to the OEM. Interested, responsible sources, that can provide the overhaul requested, may submit a quotation, which shall be evaluated. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD. The RFQ package shall be available on or about 16 July 2002. Interested contractors should download the RFQ package from fedbizops@www.eps.gov . The closing date for receipt of responses shall be no later than 31 July 2002. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. See Numbered Note 22 and 26. The following statement is for information purposes only: ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
