- Description
- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) intends to negotiate with the Automotive Coalition for Traffic Safety (ACTS) to provide NHTSA the opportunity to partner in distributing a video produced by Automotive Coalition for Traffic Safety (ACTS).NHTSA is requesting the rights to affix its NHTSA logo on the video packaging and in the video footage and the rights to reproduce and distribute the video. The Automotive Coalition for Traffic Safety will still maintain its right to affix its own logo in the video and on the video packaging (in addition to the NHTSA logo) and to distribute the video. The contractor will maintain its right to distribute the video at a cost to the public that will be determined by ACTS. Expression of interest without sufficient detail to permit evaluation of capabilities will not be considered. Oral expressions of interest will not be considered. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations nor is Request-for-Quotations document currently available. It is anticipated that a Fixed -Price Type Simplified Acquisitions will be awarded for this effort. The period of performance is the effective date of award through September 13, 2002. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is within the discretion of the Government.Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive simplified acquisitions. In the absence of responses from interested firms demonstrating their capability, NHTSA intends to request a quotation from Automotive Coalition for Safety on a noncompetitive basis for the work described. Responses must be received by the listed procuring office within 15 calendar days from date of publication of the notice.
