- Description
- The Immigration and Naturalization Service intends to award a sole-source GSA order to Gelco Information Network GSD, Incorporated for purchase of an upgrade to an existing Travel Manager software license to Version 8.1 of the Travel Manager software. The order shall consist of a basic contract with four option years. In addition to the existing software license, the following are salient factors in determining that GELCO is the only responsible source for this acquisition: 1) Gelco is the only qualified Travel Manager source available on GSA Schedule; 2) Gelco software is already installed and implemented at 60% of INS sites; 3) Gelco software is browser based and accessible by users in various locations; 4) Gelco software meets all JFMIP Travel System requirements; 5) Gelco software is Section 508 (ADA) accessible; 6) Gelco software provides the capability for encryption of network traffic; 7) Gelco software provides for an on-line and batch processing interface capability to INS' current and future accounting system(s); 8) Gelco software provides for electronic routing of travel authorizations, voucher and local voucher enabling a paperless environment; 9) Gelco software provides for email notification when electronically routing travel documents; 10) Gelco software provides for the creation of custom audit capabilities for travel documents.
