- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, in Dallas, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 50401-0012 for the provision of a Horticulture Vocational Program at the Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, Texas. The instructor working under the contract must have the appropriate educational qualifications, experience, and licensure commensurate with the job responsibilities. The Horticulture Vocational Program should focus on providing inmates with basic knowledge and skills in landscaping and organic gardening in general and practical horticulture. It is estimated the contract will include (35) 6.5 hour sessions per week for a total of 240 sessions per contract year. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about August 7, 2002, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about August 30, 2002.
