- SYNOPSIS: The contract includes furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to replace a settling concrete slab section at U.S. Coast Guard Station Ponce de Leon Inlet. The work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications herein and the attached drawings. The project includes, but is not limited to: Disconnection and temporary removal of existing gasoline fueling dispenser. Demolition of 8?x12? section of concrete slab near bulkhead/boat ramp transistion. Excavation of slab subgrade material. Fill excavated area with new base material. Constructing new concrete slab section. Replacing gasoline fuel dispenser in original location and reconnecting to fuel supply. Unit Price Item: Unit price item shall consist of plugging open joints in the concrete sheet pile bulkhead with concrete. The extent and necessity of plugging joints shall be determined by the COTR. The unit price shall be paid separately based upon the volume of concrete placed in cubic feet. The work scheduled is located at: USCG Station Ponce De Leon Inlet 2999 N. Pininsula Ave, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169-2041. The performance period is twenty (20) calendar days from award date. The estimated price range is less than $25,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsible quoter. The anticipated award date is August 12, 2002. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program Emerging Small Business Reserve. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235710, with a size standard of $12 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be accepted.
