- Description
- Contractor is to provide all equipment, materials and labor to remove old and install a new floor covering system in Building 4 at the W. G. (Bill) Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC. All work shall be in accordance with the VA and Manufacturer's specs and drawing. The existing floor system, including the old mastic and levelings beds are to be removed and a new vinyl composition tile floor with new leveling beds are to be installed. This project is in two phases. Phase 2 is 30 calendar days and shall consist of submittal review and approval. Phase 2 is 30 calendar days and shall consist of actual onsite construction. Contractor may not proceed with Phase 2 until Phase 1 is completed and approved by the VA. Any time remaining in Phase 1 can not be carried over to Phase 2. This procurement is 100% set-aside for HubZone procurement. NAICS code is 235520; estimated dollar amount between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation package, including specs, drawing and bid package will be available for downloading o/a 8/5/02 at https://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. For firms not having downloading capability, a minimum number (10 sets) will be available on a first come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. Firms may request the package on company's letterhead. Telephone or faxed requests will not be honored. Any firm submitting a bid must provide proof with their bid that they are a certified HubZone contractor.
