- Description
- The Maritime Administration (MARAD) requires services for the exclusive long-term safe layberthing for two (2) Cape I class RRF vessels in the U.S. Pacific Northwest (Washington and Oregon). The period of performance is one year with four one-year options. It is anticipated that the invitation for bid (IFB) will permit an alternate bid for a longer period of performance. An IFB will be available on or about July 31, 2002 at www.fedbizopps.gov and at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The bid opening will be conducted on or about September 4, 2002 at 2:00pm EST. THIS IFB IS A RE-ISSUANCE OF CANCELLED IFB DTMA1B01009. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a bid, which will be considered by MARAD. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's), the Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
