- The Naval Air Depot (NAVAIRDEPOT) Cherry Point, NC has a requirement to procure services for an Aircraft Accident Investigation Course to be taught on site, NAVAIRDEPOT Cherry Point. The course is to aid a member of a mishap investigation team to discuss activities surrounding an aircraft mishap, have an understanding of the entire investigation process and actively participate in an aircraft accident investigation. The NAVAIRDEPOT is an aviation repair facility owned and operated by the Department of Defense (DoD) and staffed by civilian employees and military members and officers of the DoD. The NAVAIRDEPOT overhauls and repairs designated airframes, engines and components and provides field teams and manufacturing, engineering and logistic support services. This facility is located in Eastern North Carolina adjacent to the Town of Havelock, NC. This procurement is set aside for small businesses. The solicitation will not be available at the Naval Air Systems Command homepage as previously noted, but may be obtained (when released) by requesting a copy from the identified Contract Specialist (Deborah Oliver).
