- NA Contractor shall be required to provide all labor, repair parts, supplies, tools, extender boards, or test equipment, diagnostic programs, technical documentation, transportation for maintenance personnel and and off-post base of operations. Equipment cons ists of a variety of models from over forty (40) manufacturers such as ALPS, Brothers, Canon, Epson, Fujitsu, HP ( Some Inkjets, 2100, 4, 4000N, 4050, 4500, 6, 6P) IBM, Lexmark (2391,4039, Optra) Mannesman, Okidata, Panasonic, Unisys, etc. There is no spar e equipment and no stockage of repair parts. Most equipment is located within the boundaries of Fort Jackson, SC; however, some items are located within the Columbia area, Federal Building, SCNG WET Site, AMEDD Property, Recruiting Command, ROTC Units and at Cola. Metropolitan Airport. As a minimum, contractor personnel shall have two years experience on machines listed above. The principal period of maintenance is any nine hour period between 0700 and 1800, Monday through Friday. Contractor shall be avail able to meet with the Contracting Officer within thirty minutes after notification. For emergency repairs contractor shall arrive at the designated location within two (2) hours after notification. For normal repairs, contractor shall arrive within six (6) hours after notification. The contract period is scheduled to start 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2003 with four option years. Bidders will be responsible for downloading the solicitation ( and any amendments) when it becomes available from the fol lowing sites: acquisition.army.mil or www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies will not be provided. Bidders are cautioned to visit both sites to be sure that they are aware of any amendments. The solicitation is being considered for Set Aside for HUBZone Certified firms. Interested HUBZone Certified firms are required to provide a copy of their HUBZone certification letter, proof that they meet of the requirements setforth above and a written certification that they will bid on the requirement if it is set aside f or HUBZone certified firms. This information must be received at the above address prior to close of business 4:15PM (ET) on 18 Jul 2002 in order to be considered. Information may be faxed to (803) 751 5429, ATTENTION, Lillian Darby. If sufficient interest is shown, the solicitation will be solicited as a HUBZone Set Aside. Insufficient responses will result in the solicitation being issued as 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses without further notice. The NAICS Code is 811212, $21,000,000.00 MIL.
