- This will be a Firm-fixed price Requirements contract for repair of the following items applicable to APN 224: (1) NSN 5841-01-125-1598, Radar Transmitter Assy, P/N 10068951-103, Best Estimated Quantity: 11 EA for each period of performance. (2): NSN: 5841-01-100-0080, Radar Receiver Assy, PN 10068961-102, Best Estimated Quantity 12 EA for each period of performance. (3) NSN 5841-01-317-2379, Radar Receiver Assy, P/N 10131946-101, Best Estimated Quantity: 6 EA for each period of performance. (4): NSN: 5895-01-123-4008, Range Computer, PN 10068964-103, Best Estimated Quantity 15 EA for each period of performance. (5) NSN 6130-01-125-1596CW, Power Supply, Best Estimated Quantity: 1 EA for each period of performance. (6): NSN: 5841-01-316-9997, Radar Transmitter, PN 10068951-104, Best Estimated Quantity 11 EA for each period of performance. (7) NSN 5998-01-317-1513CW, Range Computer, P/N 10131950-101, Best Estimated Quantity: 7 EA for each period of performance. (8): NSN: 5998-01-317-1527CW, Circuit Card Assy, PN 10131949-101, Best Estimated Quantity 1 EA for each period of performance. Turn-around time will be 30 days after receipt of reparable or delivery order, whichever is later. The contract will be for a 12-month Base Period with four (4) 12-month options. The approximate issue date will 25 Jul 02 with the approximate response date of 26 Aug. 02. The solicitation will be placed on the web at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
