- Description
- Pilot project of logging services contract of 20 acres on National Forest land. The purpose of this contract is to secure a complete set of services to accomplish regeneration stand treatments, a two-age prescription providing retention of wildllife hard mast trees, and for a thinning designed to release crop trees. This contract also provides road maintenance, eronsion control activities associated with commercial product removal necessary for soil & water resource protection, construction of temporary roads and landings, and the hauling of forest products to designated locations. Contractor shall take given sets of resource objectives for each unit, develop a plan to accomplish these objectives, and organize & direct all of the equipment & personnel needed to accomplish the work.
