- Description
- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to Dredge the Lagoon at Brandywine Shoal Lighthouse, USCG Aids to Navigation Team ? Cape May, NY. Base Work: Dredge to the limits and cross sections shown using mechanical or hydraulic means. Lump sum bid will be based on 1,970 CY. The boat basin shall be dredged to ?6.0 feet below MLW datum. Spoils shall be taken to a contractor obtained upland disposal. Open water disposal or side-casting of material is prohibited. Once the disposal is determined, the contractor shall notify the State of New Jersey to obtain the permit. Take before and after dredge soundings by a State of New Jersey licensed Marine Surveyor to determine the amount of dredge materials removed. Computations from the survey data will be used to determine the actual amount of dredging for payment. Unit Bid Item #1: Accomplish over-depth dredging to attain the minimum depths specified. Over-depth dredge quantities shall be limited to 100 CY of material, bid on a per cubic basis. The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed is issued. This procurement is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000 and is open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 234990. Due dates for bids will not be less than 30 days after bid issuance. NOTE THE RESPONSE DATE INDICATED IS ONLY FOR POSTING PURPOSES. THE BID OPENING DATE WILL BE LISTED ON THE SF1442 IN BLOCK 13A. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS.
