- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-02-T-5022. This solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-24 and DFARS Change Notice (DCN) 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 421840. Place of delivery and acceptance is Orbital Sciences Corporation, 21839 Atlantic Blvd, Dulles, VA 20166. Include transportation costs and availability in proposal. The absolute delivery date to Dulles, VA is no later than 25 July 2002. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, CA has a requirement for the following: 15 Each used shipping containers; dimensions are 40?X8?X8?; door openings 2,343X2,577mm; payload up to 30.4 metric tons; weight max gross 32,500kg; dry steel. The following provisions and clauses apply: 52.252-2 ? Clauses Incorporated by Reference. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the contracting officer will make their full text available. Provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
