- NA The Corps of Engineers has a need for a construction contract for channel rehabilitation, Units 1 and 2, Johnstown, Pennsylvania to include excavation; repair of spalled areas in existing concrete channel lining and concrete walls; replacement of pipe hand -railing; repair and painting of existing pipe hand-railing; repair and replacement of existing drainage features; clearing and removal of sediment in the channel; and appurtenant site work. Magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000; The plans and specifications have been placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and Specifications will not be provided in a printed paper hard copy format. The CD’s will be available approximately 073002 and sometime af ter this date the planholders list will be available on the internet at http://www.lrp.usace.army.mil/bus/bus.htm. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for a Hubzone Small Business concerns only. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contrac tors Register (CCR) before receiving any contract awards.
