Typical requirements include biological resource investigations, in compliance with the Sikes Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, Marine Mammal Protection Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, Legacy Resource Program, Magnuson-Stevens Fishing and Conservation Management Act and the National Environmental Policy of 1999. Investigations conducted outside the United States and its territories shall be conducted per International and Host Nation Laws.
