- Description
- The Contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, and transportation necessary to provide the delivery, set-up in place, and leasing (to include the general maintenance of the structure) of one (1) new, or used, 10,000 square foot relocatable building (LR88) and the removal upon completion of the contract term. The maintenance of the relocatable shall be provided by the Contractor in the form of service calls and monthly inspections. The relocatable shall be located at the Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland. The dimensions may be restricted by the site location. The building shall be complete with lighting, HVAC, utilities (sewer, water, electrical), electric power distribution panels, telephone hookups, fire alarms, and emergency lighting. The units shall be in place and ready for occupancy no more than ninety (60) days after contract award. The contract will be for a base year with 4 twelve month options. The entire solicitation including plans and specifications, will be available for viewing and downloading at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Request for Proposal will be available on or about July 26, 2002. Prospective offerors must register themselves on the web site. The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed from the web. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Offeror?s must also be registered in the Contractor?s Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement. The website for CCR is http://www.ccr2000.com. Technical inquiries must be submitted in writing 15 days before proposals are due to the address listed above, or faxed to 301-342-3141, Attn: Karen Williams or sent by e-mail to WilliamsKL@navair.navy.mil. A site visit is scheduled for August 8, 2002 at 10:00 AM, ROICC Contract Office, Building 504, NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. Participants will meet at the OICC/ROICC Naval Air Station, Bldg. 504, 22445 Peary Road, Patuxent River, Maryland, ROICC Conference Room. All planning to attend the site visit must register in advance in order to receive base access passes.
