Description

Advertisement for Geological and Mineral Studies. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available at the http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about July 25, 2002. Telephone requests for this package will not be accepted - copies of the quote must be received in this office by 4:30 p.m. on the closing date: August 22, 2002. The Government requests the offerors to submit a firm-fixed quote for providing an economic geological study and a mineral market analysis for the area know as the Expansion Area, which contains approximately 109,500 acres located within Miami-Dade County, Florida. The economic study shall be completed in conformance with generally recognized industry practices. The mineral market analysis shall conform to the basic guidelines set forth in the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions and recognized professional appraisal principals and practices. The National Park Service policies and directives and applicable laws and regulations will guide all work. Offerors must include their costs to cover all of the requirements as outlines in the Statement of Work. These costs shall include expenses such as shipping, travel expenses, per diem, salaries, researching needs, equipment, materials and any and all other costs that may be required to carry out all provisions of this contract excluding technical assistance required outside the scope of this contract. Sample studies, preferably in general conformance with the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions and recognized professional appraisal principals and practices, must be included as an attachment to this Request for Quote.
