- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ), the solicitation number is FA664-02-Q-0029. The 482 FW Operational Contracting Office, Homestead Air Reserve Base (ARB), Dade County, Florida, requires the purchase with installation of Grade A - St. Agustine Floratam Sod. A drawing depicting delivery area is available on request. Performance to begin 22 July 2002 and completed 26 July 2002. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01/07. This acquisition will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561730, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 0782 and the small business size standard is $5.0 Million Annually. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be awarded. DESCRIPTION: Purchase with installation approximately 111,704 square feet of Grade A - St. Agustine Floratam Sod to area depicted in drawing. Contractor will remove and dispose of all unnecessary debris and wooden pallets Line Item 0001, Purchase with installation approximately 111,704 SF of Grade A - St. Agustine Floratam Sod ? Upon completion of work, the contractor will submit the Original and two copies of the invoice to: DFAS--BVFD/DY, MRK FOR: FA6648-02-(Last five digits of the purchase order number), P.O. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders?Commercial Items (Dev.), applies to this acquisition. The following Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) clause applies to this solicitation and is incorporated by reference: DFARS 252.204-7004, 52.232-33; 252.225-7000; 252.225-7001, and 252.225-7002. The following Air Force FAR clause applies to this solicitation and is incorporated by reference: AFFARS 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to AF Installation. The offeror shall provide its DUNS, or if applicable its DUNS + 4 number with its offer, which will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the CCR database.
