- Description
- The U.S. Dept. of Commerce/NOAA/NOS/Staff Office for International Programs intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the University of West Indies to develop a simplified, standardized socioeconomic monitoring program tailored for the Caribbean. The projected tasks focus on overall project coordination, organization of the review of the socioeconomic protocol at the 55th Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute (GCFI) Meeting, and organization of the socioeconomic training workshop. Organization of the socioeconomic training workshop includes selecting participants and coordination logistics (hotel, accommodations, meals, workshop facilities, flight arrangements). The proposed tasks will be implemented concurrently by the Natural Resources Management Programme (NRM) of the University of the West Indies (UWI) from Date of Award through February 2003 under the direction of Dr. Patrick McConney. This is a notice of intent with no solicitation package available. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures.
