- Description
- The Upper Great Plains Region of Western Area Power Administration requires the services of a contractor to perform inspection and treatment of wood poles throughout the region. The work shall consist of above and below ground inspection; nondestructive evaluation; furnishing and applying ground line treatment, internal decay treatment and preventative fumigant treatment; and tagging and preparing inspection reports on the wood poles on approx. 1230 miles of transmission line (over a five year period)This commercial services requirement will be solicited on a full and open competive basis. The requirement is for a base period and four (4) one-year option periods. The NAICS Code that applies to this solicitation is 321114 and the size standard is 500. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about July 22, 2002 at the following site: http://e-center.doe.gov/.
