- NA Provide all plant, labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct a Fish Bypass at Lock and Dam No. 1, Bladen County, North Carolina. Work consists of excavating a 3700 foot channel on the east side of Lock and Dam No. 1 and improvements to an exis ting dirt access road an estimated 2 miles in length. Construction of the channel consists of excavating an estimated 84,300 cubic yards of unclassified material, construction of two inlet structures upstream and one outfall structure downstream. Install ation and removal of four temporary bridges across four streams. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The plans and specifications will be on CD-ROM and will be provided free of charge and should not be returned. Plans and specifications will not be provided in hard copy form. Amendments will be made through either a 3.5 diskette, CD-ROM or hard copy. T he recommended minimum software requirement is Microsoft Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or Windows NT. All bid forms, bid bonds and other normal documents required for bid submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for bid submittal shall not be allo wed.
