- THIS IS A MODIFICATION TO THE PREVIOUS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE TO CHANGE THE FOLLOWING 4 DATES: RESPONSE DATE LISTED ABOVE; THE SOLICITATION IS SCHEDULED FOR ISSUANCE ON OR ABOUT DATE; ON-SITE VISIT DATE; AND THE AWARD DATE. The contractor shall supply all labor, material, supervision, equipment, transportation and equipment to install fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) panels on wall and ceiling services, install lighting, paint and other miscellaneous work for the Milking Parlor in Building 178-1, located in BARC-EAST in Beltsville, Maryland in accordance with the Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications. All work is to completed within 60 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of Project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for August 15, 2002 at 10:00 a.m., meeting at the front entrance of Building 178-1, BARC-EAST, just off of Powder Mill Road in Beltsville, Maryland. The North American Industrial Classification Code is: 235990 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as unrestricted under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about July 24, 2002. If you are unable to download the solicitation, a written request may be submitted to the Contracting Officer requesting a hard copy. Written request only; specifying the RFQ number: 2011265145-00992 submitted to the above address or faxed to 301/504-8696. There will be a limit to the number of hard copies that are issued. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A firm-fixed price purchase will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors.
